AT A GLANCE
In the context of advanced Customer service, EUROPA offers the technical inspection service of Europa frames, when the manufacturing and installation has been completed by the fabricator of your choice.

Through this process it is possible to:
Α) Perform an on-the-spot inspection by a qualified Europa technical consultant, who will confirm that the aluminium profiles are indeed Europa profiles, and that the installed product is the one selected at the time of quotation.
Β) Prepare a technical report on the manufacturing aspect of aluminium systems (doors / windows / roller shutters / insect screens) according to the Europa specifications.
In order for the Technical Inspection to take place, the following must apply:
- The construction and installation of aluminium systems must be completed.
The above is confirmed by a joint statement of both parties involved (the aluminium fabricator and the client), in order for the project to be considered complete.
- No other party to have intervened apart from the fabricator who has undertaken the project.
- Less than one (1) year should have elapsed since the completion of the installation. In the event that one (1) year has elapsed, the company inspection can just confirm that the products installed are manufactured from Europa aluminium profiles, without any reference to their manufacturing and installation specifications.
- The aluminium fabricator chosen by the end user should be notified in the event he wishes to attend the procedure.
This condition ensures the integrity of the process between the two parties involved (end user/consumer/individual – aluminium fabricator) and is in line with one of the key Europa principles: to ensure the quality of aluminium profiles used in the final product / frame.
- The technical inspection is carried out at the request of the final consumer/individual/user and/or the aluminium fabricator who has carried out the construction and installation. The request form is available here and is submitted electronically to Europa Customer support Department.
- A visit of a competent technician of the Europa Technical Department takes place at the project site.
- The inspection is carried out following to a charge. Charges are listed in detail in the CHARGES section.
-
- EUROPA technician is responsible to record the visual findings and refer to the correct operation of the system.
It is important to mention that:
- The technician checks the visible – manifest points of the frame.
- The technician does not intervene with the frames in any way whatsoever.
- The technician cannot act in a way that would alter the work of the aluminium fabricator.
- The technician’s findings are reported to Europa Technical Department Manager.
- Other interventions or requests to the technician from any of the parties involved during the inspection need to be ignored, to ensure reliability and objectivity of the inspection.
- The technician records specific information, as described below, stored, and kept in the company data base for purposes exclusively related to the Technical Inspection. This information is as follows:
- Address of the inspected building.
- Contact Information of the end user and the aluminium fabricator who carried out the manufacturing / installation.
- Address for the report letter submission, in case it is different from that of the address in which the inspection took place.
- E-mail address of both end-user and aluminium fabricator for sending the report letter.
- Tax data of the end user to issue the respective invoice (TIN/Tax Office/Company name).
- The Technical Department drafts and sends the report (by mail and / or email) within 3-5 business days from the day of the inspection. The report letter is signed by the technician who realized the inspection as well as by the Technical Department Manager.
- Each of the parties involved can communicate with the Customer Service at +30 22620 32100, on business days and hour, for eventual clarifications.
- The settlement of any disputes between the parties is independent from Europa. Issues related to the financial transaction or commercial agreement (payments before or after the technical inspection) between the parties, i.e. the end user (consumer/individual) and aluminium fabricator (and/or engineer), are not related to the company, since all parties are acting independently.
- It is explicitly clarified that the letter-report records only the findings of the inspection and does not extend to judgments, viewpoints, opinions, or speculations. Furthermore, the company does not replace any Public Authority or Technical Chamber.
- It is explicitly clarified that the aluminium fabricator is an independent professional who operates on his/her own account, without being associated with a distribution or agency relationship with the company, and EUROPA bears no responsibility for any financial transaction with the end user.
In the case that based on the inspection findings the system requires repair, in accordance with Europa specifications, a second inspection (review) may be carried out, provided that the required repairs have been completed according to the relevant declaration of both parties (end user and aluminium fabricator).
- In the case described here above, Europa may provide an additional service, for the inspection to be carried out for free, charging only any eventual travel costs involved.
- In the event that a second or more consecutive inspections are required, further to the second technical inspection, the charges are valid as was the case of the first technical inspection.
- The procedure of the second technical inspection includes all the compounds (procedure/ conditions) as described in the initial inspection.
- For the technical inspections carried out within the territory of the mainland region of Attiki there is only a visit charge and no charge of travel costs.
- For the insular areas within the limits of Attiki, and for all other areas outside Attiki there is an extra charge of the travel cost on the basis of kilometers, any air/ferry tickets and the possible overnight stay of the technician who will carry out the inspection.
- Payment of the corresponding amount is effected on the spot (for cases where there is only a visit fee) or in advance (for cases that incur travel costs, etc.).
- For the purposes of payment, additional information required by law for issuing the relevant invoice (TIN, tax office, company name, etc.).
