APARTMENT BUILDING IN VRILISSIA

On a level, nearly square corner plot, with its southwest side facing a tree-lined square, a four-story apartment building was constructed, defined by the building lines and side distances. Key principles included effortless visual contact with the greenery of the surrounding area, alongside redefining lost privacy in collective housing. The favorable orientation and the building’s relationship with the developed urban reality guided the functional organization of the floor plans and the treatment of the building’s exterior.

Large transparent frames ensure natural lighting and a functional relationship between the inside and the outside. A generous glass curtain wall provides ample light to the interior atrium of the two-story apartment on the top floor.
